The weakness in my character Sadie is her friendship with garrett , she feels like a pathetic girl ,repeating everything a boy tells her. The books she reads, the movies she watch, even the music in her ipod was garretts playlist . She even wore her hear in sertin way, she wanted to look like the exotic french movie stars he always seem to rave about. Sadie just whore her jeans,shirts and sweaters because Garrett always mock the girls who dress retro or outlandishly.Sadie stop reading her moms bodice-ripper romance novels because garrett saw stack of them in her living room and laughed about the trash that passes as literature these days. Sadie's entire life is based on a guy ,she needs to find out who she is without him.
Have you ever been obsesses with a guy/girl , that started changing who you are ?
Would you ever base your whole life on guy/girl you like ?

I feel like Sadie needs to spend some time away from Garrett for a while to find out who she is without him like you said. I think once she starts spending time away and is shaping her own personality and interests, she'll end up wondering why she liked Garrett so much in the first place and only want him as a friend..I feel like once she is her own person shell attract a new guy that makes her more happy than Garrett. Maybe Garrett would even be jealous after or like her more with her new/own personality.

ReplyDeleteand I have never been obsessed with a guy or based my whole life of a guy but what I did that's kinda the same is I tried to fit in, in elementary school so I changed what I listened too and what I wore... which was stupid.
